Vice President Kamala Harris has a new solution to the failures of the Biden administration. Wait for it… A new “National Gender Strategy,” a plan Harris says is “one this moment calls for.”
“President Biden and I released the first ever National Gender Strategy,” Harris tweeted Friday. “This is our vision for the future of our nation—one that is bold in strategy and one that this moment calls for.”

What exactly is a national gender strategy? According to Biden and Harris, it’s a 42-page document that includes everything from more women in the military to nationalized abortion rights funded by taxpayers. Seriously.
While the left might be uptight about “advancing gender equity and equality is fundamental to every individual’s economic security,” according to the document, the plan falls a bit short at addressing the real issues of inflation, jobs, education, COVID-19, military readiness, the border crisis and more.
But don’t forget the plans “intersectional approach”! The plan promises more opportunities for all, especially those who face discrimination over gender or orientation.
How does that even relate to the plan’s effort to, “Defend the constitutional right to safe and legal abortion in the United States”? Simply put. It doesn’t.
Page 34 of the plan is also a winner: “Yet more work remains to eliminate barriers to voting and reach gender parity in U.S. leadership.” The plan explains voting laws need to change so gender is somehow more equal. So now new voting reform bills that make it more difficult to cheat are both racist and sexist according to Democrats.
Don’t forget to make every migrant a citizen while we’re at it, right? Page 25 adds, “We will seek to eliminate barriers that prevent immigrants from accessing government-funded services or obtaining the assistance of law enforcement, and will advance the language access rights of individuals with limited English proficiency. We will promote education programs so that immigrant populations are aware of their rights, including labor rights and protections, to reduce vulnerability to exploitation.”
In other words, more tax dollars for illegal immigrants and removing “barriers” to making illegal immigrants eligible to work, attend school and eventually vote, for Democrats, of course.
The whole plan is a liberal Alphabet soup mixed up with a bit of every progressive program in the Biden agenda under the label of gender. Maybe that’s why it’s the left’s plan for this moment. It tries to fix its problems by placing their wish list as the solution to other unrelated problems.
That’s a great way to avoid responsibility for bad actions. It’s also a list of lies. Much of what is in the plan has nothing to do with helping America’s women and girls. Instead, it’s about helping one woman, Kamala Harris, along with Joe Biden, to find some support for policies that have failed under other strategies.
We don’t need a national gender plan. We need good old America First leadership. With Biden and Harris, a national gender plan might be as close as we get.
