Georgia GOP and RNC Appeal Activist Judge’s Ruling Against Election Integrity

One of the reasons why we’ve been so bullish on Georgia in 2024 is because of all the new election integrity rules that the State Election Board (SEB) has passed this year. The rules to protect the integrity of the vote are so stringent that former candidate and coup victim Joe Biden pulled his campaign out of Georgia entirely.

Replacement candidate Kamala Harris’s campaign is likewise not investing much there, because they had little hope of stealing the election with these new rules in place.

Unfortunately, an activist judge overturned seven of the new rules on Wednesday.

Fulton County Superior Court Judge Thomas Cox ruled in a case that the new election integrity measures “are contrary to the laws of the State of Georgia, the Constitution of the State of Georgia, and the Constitution of the United States.”

Cox also stated that the SEB had no authority to implement changes to election rules. Funny how none of the courts thought it was wrong in 2020 secretaries of state unlawfully sidestepped their state legislatures to change the rules.

The seven rules that the mentally challenged Cox declared to be violations of the US Constitution include hand-counting of ballots to verify the machine counts; mandatory video surveillance of drop boxes; expanded mandatory poll-watching areas that include additional areas of ballot handling; requiring signature and photo ID when absentee ballots are delivered; and requiring superintendents to attest that ballot counts are accurate before results can be certified.

Hand-counting ballots is a violation of the US Constitution? How exactly does this moron judge think we counted ballots before Dominion Voting Systems came along?

The good news is that the RNC and the Georgia Republican Party have filed an emergency appeal of Judge Cox’s ruling with the state Supreme Court. It looks like they have a very good chance of prevailing there and overturning the ruling, which would keep the rules in place.

One of Cox’s assertions is that the State Election Board has no authority to create rules governing elections in Georgia. That is an easily disproven lie. It’s the SEB’s main duty!

The Georgia Secretary of State’s office has a webpage that describes the exact duties of the SEB. The very first one listed on the website states:

“Promulgating rules and regulation to promote uniformity in election practices, and to promote legality and purity in elections.”

All the new rules in Georgia were passed by the SEB after it finally conducted a real investigation of the 2020 election this year. The board discovered that all the “conspiracy theories” about the 2020 election were in fact true and accurate.

Drop boxes were stuffed with ballots in the dead of night. The magic suitcase ballots at State Farm Arena were counted multiple times after the poll watchers were sent home. The hand count of ballots during the audit after the election found that the actual number of physical ballots did not match the machine counts.

The new SEB rules were passed to close the loopholes that the Democrats in Fulton County used to steal the 2020 election from Donald Trump. Judge Cox claims these rules violate the US Constitution and the Georgia Constitution, and that the SEB had no authority to pass new rules.

The US Constitution gives plenary authority to state legislatures to set their own election rules. The Georgia legislature has granted authority to set rules and regulations to the State Election Board. Making rules to ensure the integrity and purity of Georgia’s elections is the main duty of the SEB.

So, how did Judge Cox come up with such a contrary ruling?

There are two possibilities. One is that Judge Cox is an idiot who lacks basic reading comprehension skills. The other is that Cox is an activist liberal judge who doesn’t want the State of Georgia to have secure elections. If there’s a third option, it escapes us.

The 2020 election proved that we have the most unsafe and insecure elections of any advanced country in the world. The new rules in Georgia were created to ensure that we don’t have a repeat of 2020.

The SEB even admits now that Georgia’s 2020 election results should never have been certified. The evidence of fraud was that compelling!

Here’s hoping that the Georgia Supreme Court quickly intervenes and sets this right.
