The Democrats are not even pretending to care about the American people anymore and frankly, it’s just despicable at this point.

Late in March, President Donald Trump signed a powerful executive order designed to prevent illegal aliens from voting in American elections – and the Democrats are suing him to stop that order.

Could they be any more obvious they only care about power and not the good of the country?

Trump’s executive order deals with several laws that prohibit foreigners from registering to vote or from actually physically voting in the elections.

As part of the order, Trump directed the independent Election Assistance Commission to require proof of U.S. citizenship in its mail voter registration form, ordered U.S. officials to work with the Department of Government Efficiency to review voter rolls to identify noncitizens who are already registered, and told the U.S. attorney general to prosecute individuals who have illegally registered or voted.

Another element of the executive order is designed to tackle the way that states, in recent years, have decided to hold off on counting mail-in-ballots until they apparently decide that they feel like it, causing our election process to be unnecessarily long and drawn out with more potential for fraud.

It also states that the Election Assistance Commission is to cut off any federal funds to states that don’t comply with the laws on noncitizen voting and election dates.

While any sane American who wants legitimately secure elections views all of this as the common sense right thing to do, the Democrats don’t seem to feel that way because they NEED illegal voters to stay in power – so why would they ever want to let Trump get rid of them?

The Democratic National Committee (DNC) and two top U.S. lawmakers sued President Donald Trump over the order.

And the man behind it is none other than notoriously evil Democrat super-lawyer Marc Elias, who has helped the Democrats get away with everything shy of murder. Elias helped Hillary Clinton compile an anti-Trump dossier back in 2016 and he’s been fighting against the president and the MAGA movement ever since.

“The Executive Order seeks to impose radical changes on how Americans register to vote, cast a ballot, and participate in our democracy—all of which threaten to disenfranchise lawful voters and none of which is legal,” states the lawsuit filed by Democratic Party attorney Marc Elias.

Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) and House Minority Leader Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) are also listed as plaintiffs in the lawsuit, signaling the entire Democratic party is in on it.

Democrats are asking the court to declare that the order “violates the Constitution and federal law,” blocking U.S. officials from implementing it.

In other words, the Democrats are claiming that it’s “unconstitutional” to stop illegal aliens from voting and that it’s a “violation of federal law” to stop states from keeping votes sitting around until they decide they need them…

This is a slap in the face to the American people.

Harrison Fields, a White House spokesman said that the “The Democrats continue to show their disdain for the Constitution and it continues to show in their insane objections to the President’s commonsense executive actions to require proof of U.S. citizenship in an effort to protect the integrity of American elections.”

He added that, “The Trump administration is standing up for free, fair, and honest elections and asking this basic question is essential to our Constitutional Republic.”

But again, the Democrats have no interest in fair and honest elections!
