It seems like the Democrats are finally starting to regret having run several blue states into the ground and forcing their residents to seek refuge in Republican led states.

But those selfish Democrats only regret having done this for one reason – POWER.

With the massive reductions in population that states like California, New York, and Illinois have seen Democrats are worried that it will become that much harder for them to win future presidential elections.

By the year 2030, Texas and Florida are projected to gain four congressional seats each while California is projected to lose four and New York projected to lose two. The number of electoral votes in a state is determined by the number of Senators plus the number of House Representatives.

This means blue states are losing impact over presidential elections while red states are gaining it.

The Obama Bro’s who run the wildly popular Democrat podcast, “Pod Save America,” have urged Democrats to do “massive work” to rebuild their coalition and adapt to changing political realities.

“What I worry about in some of the responses to date is that we … remain unwilling to truly reckon with this election. We can tell ourselves a story that the election was closer than the votes,” Pfeiffer said.

But this is not true. If anything, the election was even WORSE for the Democrats than the numbers suggested and at least these former President Obama aides did acknowledge part of the reason for that is that Democrats have “bled massively with the most core parts of [their] coalition — Latino voters, black voters, young people — and that is an ongoing trend.”

Pfeiffer lamented the fact that the Democrats are “doing the same things they were doing six months ago, as opposed to really, really rethinking how we communicate, how we speak… What are we going to do that’s different than before?”

 The former Democrat aide is freaking out because his party is trying to run the same exact playbook they’ve been running since 2016 and hoping that it will somehow magically produce a different result for them at a time when it’s about to get even HARDER for them to win elections.

“That doesn’t solve our bigger problem. I don’t even want to depress people, but take a look at what the 2032 electoral map’s going to look like. And once you do that, you’re going to realize that we have massive work to do to reconfigure our coalition,” Pfeiffer added.

“We have to be willing to ask really hard questions and I’m not convinced that enough people in the party are willing to ask those questions right now.”

It’s funny that Democrat leaders like these ones can’t even say out loud the topics that made voters leave their party—illegal immigration, the economy, jobs, transgender teachings to children, the sending of massive amounts of money to fund foreign wars, etc. Instead they just give Democrat listeners the general advice that their party needs to do a “massive amount” of work to bring voters back into their coalition. In reality they couldn’t care less about the fact that their leaders have completely destroyed blue states—that is until it threatens their ability to maintain political power.

Democrats if they hope to ever regain the White House and a majority in Congress are going to need to move to the right on a number of important topics to voters. Either that or it’s going to get A LOT harder for the leftists to win elections going forward. In reality, Democrat leaders and advisors should be in an all-out-panic that their party hasn’t changed a single thing since losing the White House and Congress 3 months ago.
