Democrat nominee Vice President Kamala Harris wants the government to get MORE involved in controlling the American food supply and if the current food crisis is any indication, we could ALL be left starving thanks to her.

In at least eight states, Harris and Joe Biden are reportedly letting Americans STARVE thanks to major food shortages caused by absolutely no reason other than the government’s incompetence.

In these eight states, the federal government handles the distribution of food to low-income senior citizens and Native American tribes as part of food aid programs.

Tom Vilsack, the Secretary of Agriculture for the Biden-Harris regime, said that these communities are unable to access food because of “mistakes” made in his department.

According to Vilsack, the massive contract to distribute the food was awarded to a SINGLE distributor, which either reeks of blatant corruption or insane incompetence.

Since the beginning of the contract in April, several tribes and communities of senior citizens have reported major delays and in some cases, even canceled deliveries altogether.

As a result the communities which relied on and trusted the government to help them (which was probably their first mistake) have been STARVED by their own government and things are slated to get even WORSE over the next few months.

But as people are being left without access to food, the Biden-Harris regime’s response is a glorified “oopsie,” with Vilsack saying “We’re learning that our system was flawed, and mistakes were made.”

These government caused food shortages have been the worst in North Dakota, South Dakota, North Carolina, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Minnesota, Oregon, and Washington.

And while this issue on its own is certainly disturbing, it’s an even bigger cause for concern when you consider the fact that Kamala Harris is vowing to make the incompetent federal government an even bigger part of our food supply.

Kamala’s soviet-style food price controls aim to let the government set price caps on food items across the entire country.

That may SOUND all nice and dandy until you realize that food manufacturers and retailers cannot afford to produce and sell food at a loss. If the government forces them to do this, they will go out of business, FAST.

What then will happen is the food might be cheaper, sure, but you won’t be able to find any of it! If there are no manufacturers left in business to make the food then we have no food – price caps be damned.

With empty shelves, the government might look to step in with more “critical food aid programs” like the ones we know they’re already starving people with.
