Speculation has reached a fever pitch after both Elon Musk and Donald Trump have declared that they’re going to Fort Knox, America’s gold reserves.

Due to mistrust in the Federal Reserve and the financial industry in general, many have speculated that the gold is long gone. It’s been spirited away by some sort of villainous mastermind, such as the Rothschilds or lost forever in some brazen heist. The public doesn’t know whether the gold reserves are actually there and some Members of Congress say they’ve been denied entry to Fort Knox to check.

So, what happens to America and the rest of the world if Elon Musk opens the vault and the gold is not there?

First, why is this important?

The gold reserves at Fort Knox are part of the guarantee behind the US dollar, which is the world’s reserve currency. (There are also petrodollars to consider, but we’re only talking gold here.) America is the financial leadership center of the world because of the strength of the US dollar.

Those gold reserves are like the promise that underpins the entire global financial order.

There hasn’t been a full audit of the gold reserves at Fort Knox since 1974. There hasn’t been a comprehensive audit since 1953. The globalist, free trade cultists in the US government have spent years demolishing public trust in our institutions.

They earned that mistrust by lying to us into pointless wars, lying about the COVID vaccines, about how tariff- and tax-free trade deals for everyone else are good for Americans, claiming that mass immigration improves our economy, lying about what our tax dollars are spent on, and lying to us about anything and everything repeatedly until we’re almost $40 trillion in debt as a nation.

So, it’s a fair question to ask whether Fort Knox is still filled with gold bars or not. Maybe “they” are lying to us.

As for what happens if the gold is not there, well… every aspect of our lives would change in an instant if that’s the case.

If it turns out the US dollar is not underpinned by our alleged gold reserves, it will shatter the global financial markets immediately. Financial power in the world would shift from the West (America) to the East (China and the BRICS alliance). China would get to have a big “See, we told you so” moment on the world stage as it ascends to the largest and most financially powerful nation on Earth.

Almost every American family would be instantly impoverished. Any assets that anyone holds in cash and the money in your checking account will all be worthless. We’ll all be cooking rats on campfires that we have to use our now-worthless US dollars to start.

There’s almost a zero percent chance that the 50 United States would survive as an intact political entity. It would be insane for Texas, which wisely has its own gold reserves, to allow itself to be dragged down by staying in a political union with the reckless and fiscally irresponsible idiots running states like California and Illinois.

The America that we all grew up with would cease to exist if those gold bars were not in Fort Knox. Ironically, the only way for families to protect themselves from this catastrophe is to own physical gold.

Why is President Trump willing to take such a huge risk with the wealth and finances of every American family? The stakes of opening up Fort Knox and finding nothing there but some dust bunnies and Jimmy Hoffa’s skeleton are incredibly high.

If we had to guess, we would say that President Trump is not gambling here. He already knows that the gold reserves are there, and this is all political theater to point a giant middle finger at China and the BRICS alliance.

It would prove to the world that the US dollar is as strong as ever, and it will only continue getting stronger as he diversifies America’s wealth with a cryptocurrency reserve and more of those sweet, sweet petrodollars. (Drill, baby, drill!)

With that being said, none of us will know whether the gold is really there until the moment that the vault is opened. If we’re wrong and the gold is not there, Americans should brace themselves for the world to completely change overnight.
